I had such an good time at this shoot Saturday afternoon of Otakon. Things didn't go according to plan on attendance, but who we had there made the shoot extremely fun and enjoyable! I look some concentrated here... xD

A HUGE thank you to Nikita for everything she did at the shoot. She's amazing to work with and she was completely cool with how things were!

If I may ask, where did you buy this Lightning wig? It looks so perfect and I want one just like yours!

I bought it from e-bay, I believe it was this exact seller [link] . Now the bangs did not come styled, so I had to cut and spike them myself, also, some Lightning cosplayers cut the length of the wig and make it strictly a over-one-shoulder wig, I didn't. I kept the whole of the wig and just pull it all over one shoulder, which can be a pain in shoots, but I pin it in place. c:

wait, one more thing, how did you style your wig or what kind of materials did you use to style the wig?

I used lots of reference pictures and just a simple pair of scissors to cut the layers in. Then I used Got 2 Be spiking glue and freeze spray to actually create the spikes. c: Pay extra special attention to the way the spikes will cover your face and how they cover/frame Lightning's face.
